@no1rsan: Vinland Saga is an epic historical manga and anime series that follows the grueling journey of Thorfinn, a young Icelandic warrior driven by hatred and a desire for revenge against Askeladd, the mercenary leader who murdered his legendary father, Thors. Spending his youth as a cold-blooded killer within Askeladd’s band during the brutal 11th-century Danish invasion of England, Thorfinn’s entire identity is shattered when his target is unexpectedly killed by Prince Canute, leaving him without a purpose and deeply traumatized by his own violent past. Placed into slavery on a Danish farm, Thorfinn undergoes a profound psychological and spiritual transformation, renouncing violence and resolving to atone for his sins by establishing a peaceful, weapon-free settlement in the legendary distant land of Vinland. Through its masterful blend of historical fiction, intense political intrigue involving King Canute's ruthless rise to power, and deeply philosophical themes, the narrative shifts from a visceral tale of revenge into a profound, moving examination of pacifism, cyclical trauma, and what it truly means to be a real warrior#vinlandsaga #thorfinn #viral
