I didn't even know there was a name for it... But I definitely recognize myself in this. As an overthinker, I tend to analyze every possible outcome from every conceivable angle, play out countless scenarios in my head, and somehow always end up expecting the worst. Somewhere along the way, I guess I mistook expecting disappointment for protecting myself from it..
