how to sum it up: one piece has been foreshadowing things as far back as skypeia!! (good example being that being having monkeys on it) naruto on the other hand makes shit up on the fly especially during the last few arcs

exactly, hell they could say imu is....well from hell and it would fit with the DEVIL fruits. but as soon as they went to space bs i got confused then people saying "naruto is multiversal" but never really show a FEAT for it other than kaguyas pocket dimensions. its the same reason why i like dragon ball over dragon ball z

Kaguya being a goddess would’ve made it fine. Ninja’s using fantastical jutsu’s since episode 1 was fine, and all the tailed beasts and stuff were originally mythical beast spirits. Aliens being the center piece of it all kinda just felt outta left field.
