@juliana..lugo: @FHSAA lets talk. Like, repost, share, comment, do whatever to get this video attention. the other team fought so hard and played amazing, that is nothing I want to take away, but I want to adress the way this ended. theres a lot of problems with this match, but this is the biggest one. We showed video proof to the people at the match but they said they "couldn't do anything because the match was over". Its wrong. the match should've been over in the kill in this video, right then and there. #volleyball #help #vball #fyp #blowthisup

I'm a firm believer in one call doesn't or make or break a game. I agree this was a bad call but how many serves did we miss? how many times were we in the net? how many times did we not execute a mistake by the opponent? close games, makes for close calls- one didn't take it away in my opinion.

As a Florida highschool/middle school referee i encourage to to contact FHSAA if you want to appeal your case. Based off your caption multiple mistakes especially in a state championship match is devastating. We definitely aren’t perfect referees but we should still strive for perfection

I understand what you’re trying to bring attention too and the frustration I don’t know why the other team is being as mean as they are when you didn’t say anything negative to them

One call does not determine the outcome of a game/match. What about all the other points your team gave up to lose not one, not even two but THREE sets? 🤔

A game where you played almost 230 points, but it was robbed by only one, and from the looks of it, the bad reffing was for both teams to overcome, not just yours. This seems like a bad attitude. Both teams work so hard all year, and you have college to look forward to! It's a hard loss, but I think robbed was the wrong word

the other team taking it the wrong way and trying to brag is actually so insane to me. nothing you said was about them as a team; if anything it’s clear that you are happy for them yet they still behave this way.

I think every athlete can agree that bad calls SUCK but to talk down on another team (not referring to this post) is just as wrong if not worse than that referee making a bad call. Doesn’t matter how good of an athlete anyone is it’s called being good sportsmanship. 😁

If you want to get better at learning something, you have to reframe what learning actually is. Because learning is not about reading a new fact or a first exposure to something. Learning is the constant battle against forgetfulness. Learning is the never-ending effort of fighting the mind’s need to erase things and clear up some space. A lot of people have heard of the learning curve, but what's probably more important is the 19th-century Hermann Ebbinghaus's idea of the forgetting curve. Ebbinghaus's various studies showed that our memory loss is sharpest in the first 20 minutes after learning something, and then it roughly halves in the first hour. After a day or two, your forgetfulness curve will plateau a bit, and that'll vary depending on lifestyle factors like stress, and sleep, and so on. Which means, if I gave you 20 random toys to memorise, most people would remember ten within an hour, and about three within a week. There are two things to take away from this. The first is that repetition and revision is the best, and possibly only, way to prevent memory loss. And the second is about the mind. Because the mind does not forget things out of a kind of masochistic spite or weakness, it forgets what is no longer useful. It keeps what it needs. And so, what you remember is a reflection of your own personality and your own lifestyle. And so, the good learner is somebody who asks, 'What I can be forgetful about.' They are intentional about forgetfulness. They will ask themselves, 'What am I willing to forget, and how can I prevent forgetting it?'
