Chop one honeydew, blend. Strain the juice. Need about a cup of juice. In a separate bowl, 3/4 cup sugar. 1 tbsp each of zest orange, lemon, and lime. Juice 2 lemons and two limes into sugar bowl. Add honeydew juice into pot, medium high heat, add sugar bowl mixins into pot. Heat until simmering and dissolve sugar. Cool for 10-20 minutes, strain. 2-4 tablespoons of this to a cup of ice and water.

Some may be interested to know that Mountain Dew was originally created as a mixer, and it’s also a slang term for moonshine along the lines of “hooch” and “stump juice” and “White Lightning”, which I had thought was a brand in my youth.
