@sanadroughajian: The campus will be named the Alex and Lina Megerdechian High School, it will serve approximately 400 students, and it will be the first Armenian high school in Glendale. The announcement was made at Chamlian's Blue Ribbon Soirée, an evening marking the school's National Blue Ribbon recognition. Chamlian is the first Armenian school in the United States to receive the distinction. "Alex and Lina Megerdechian have given that dream a place to take root," said Artin Ghazarian, Chair of Chamlian's School Board. "Their unprecedented gift makes this a defining moment for our children and for the future we will build together." The school says a high school has been a cherished dream for the Chamlian community for more than four decades. The Megerdechians have three children currently enrolled at Chamlian.
