✨ Dhana-trayodashi | Honouring Lord Dhanvantari & Ayurveda 🌿🙏 Today, as we celebrate Dhanteras, I want to acknowledge Lord Dhanvantari, the divine physician and the one who gave us Ayurveda. According to the ancient scriptures, during Samudra Manthan, the great churning of the cosmic ocean, Lord Dhanvantari emerged carrying a pot of Amrit, the divine nectar of immortality. He is also revered as the one who brought the knowledge of Ayurveda, the ancient science of life and healing, to us. And today, as I build an Ayurvedic food forest here in America, I feel deeply connected to this ancient lineage. 🌿⚡️💚 Some may call it mythology, but for me, it is as real as it gets. Because here I am, thousands of miles away from the land where these stories originated, growing food, nurturing medicinal plants and trying to bring ancient wisdom into everyday life. 💚 Isn’t it beautiful how a story passed down through generations continues to inspire something so tangible today? This connection became even more meaningful when Eric and I had the opportunity to be part of the Purna Maha Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj, the rare 144-year cycle. Witnessing millions of people come together in devotion and faith was an experience I will always cherish. For us, wealth is not just gold and silver. It is good health, fertile soil, nourishing food, clean water, biodiversity and living in harmony with nature. Today, we celebrate not just a festival but the wisdom, stories and traditions that continue to shape how I live. Grateful to Lord Dhanvantari, the ancient sages and Mother Earth. 🌿🙏🏻✨🌍 May we all cultivate health, abundance and healing. Shubh Dhanteras! ❤️ #Dhanteras #Dhanvantari #Ayurveda #SamudraManthan #ayurvedicfoodforest
