Your 18 just out of high school everyone will take advantage of you if they can, money trumps "I support the troops", don't expect police to support you either especially close to base quite the opposite, your leadership cares more about their promotion than yours, do the bare minimum any more and you will be taken advantage of, do not find a significant other anywhere near a base you will end up in divorce court in a month or 2 from "I do".
