@knoahelias: perhaps you have to stay distant for me to still find beauty in you. a couple days ago when i wrote this, i stepped outside for a moment to let my dog out. every time i step outside of my house at nighttime, it feels like a pause in reality. i've seen this spoke on before from people taking the trash out at work, but i experience this at home too. it feels like a moment of freedom. that night, the sky was full of stars. they weren't very bright, but they were full in abundance. i rarely go out to know if this is common, but i don't remember seeing that many in recent memory. and i wonder if that's because i stopped noticing or because of light pollution. but all in all, as i waited for my dog to do her business, i breathed in the night air and took a moment to stare at the sky. my lungs fought themselves from freezing with every breath in, while i was fixated on the stars like i was my own telescope. the moon wasn't full either, but unlike the stars, is was brightly luminous. i always wonder if when i look at the moon and the stars, are any people that were once in my life looking at them too? we share the same sky, the same moon, the same sun. so at least we have something in common still. #targetaudience #hopecore #knoah #moon #distantlover
