compression sock first and then a higher ankle sock like the ones Meredith suggested!

Did you use ALL of the lace holes? The two little ones at the top off to the side a bit lock the shoe on the heel

Or if you’re always hiking like this, then hiking boots are your answer, but make sure they’re fitted well.

Solomon shoes and Darn Tough merino wool socks(stay away from cotton as they trap moisture) you can also use anti-friction balms like 2Toms sports shield, Squirrels nut butter or body glide anti chafe.

as long as it’s non-cotton, pretty much any running brand sock will help with friction. Feetures, swiftwick, Bombas, balega- darn tough or smartwool if you want something heavier. I would avoid the ones with the no-show cut and heel tab if you are doing things on trails, because it always ends up acting like a little funnel for a bits of dirt and gravel which are super irritating. If it’s giving you a blister use an actual blister Band-Aid. They are extra thick and adhere very well to protect and heal the skin.

I started layering compression socks under Swiftwick calf high socks. Made a huge difference for me. So, what Lexi Sue and Meredith said.

You can use Benzoin tincture to help bandages stick better - it's the only way I can get anything to stick on my feet. I prefer leukotape over moleskin or bandaids personally, but ymmv. You can also look into different shoe lacing techniques - your feet may be slipping around a bit, and different lacing can help lock them in place.

I’d get some lightweight cushioned socks they protect the back of your heals from blistering and they are great

Moleskin. I have had some nasty blisters from long distance miles. This is the only thing that helped
