I wondered if that video with leg problems was after the tomato plant dinner. A granddaughter did not know NOT to feed raw green beans and one of hers did that same thing. After a lot of vitamin therapy and months later she did much better.

we heard that about nightshade and morning glory with livestock. we had our sheep around them and they ate it but non-issue. I think they ate in moderation and not gluten

That’s way too many chickens to have to worry about a couple plants

Now many people would be so open about things they don’t know. You definitely learn more by being that way. I’m glad your chickens are fine.🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓

yes they will taste first and will know its not good for them. I have flowers that are deadly to my chickens and they leave them alone beside the occasional peck to see if its edible

Tomatoes are in the nightshade family, as are potatoes. Compare the leaves of all three.

A lot of chickens will naturally avoid toxins. Doesn’t mean they won’t eat toxic stuff but they do have a kind of idea of what they can and can’t have. Love watching your videos bro.

chickens and quail can eat a little bit of tomato plants I sometimes gave them for a little tiny snack they are fine but do not ever give them black nightshade that js from the same family but that is very dangerous for them and I already lost a quail from having 1 little bite from it

My basset hound ate 25 pounds of chocolate and was fine 🤣. Not encouraging this. This was obviously a hound looking for trouble and a snack 😫😁

I wouldn't expose them to it on purpose, but that said, I've never lost a bird to plant poisoning
