@thesameerproject: This past week, we asked people in Gaza what they needed most. They told us water. Bread. Electricity. A way to earn a living and support their families. This morning, after one night of heavy rain, families across Gaza are asking for the same thing. A shelter. A dry place to sleep. Somewhere warm to take their children. Overnight, floodwater destroyed tens of thousands of tents and soaked or swept away the few belongings families had managed to carry from one displacement to the next. Now people are looking at one another, asking where they’re supposed to go. Their neighbors’ tents are flooded too. Families need somewhere dry to sleep tonight. Please donate to The Sameer Project’s emergency winter response so we can get tents and dry bedding to families who have lost their shelter again. Give to our General Campaign.
