Then David Silva does it daily, so it all depends on how good you’re as player

I respectfully disagree. Players should be comfortable receiving the ball under pressure, with an opponent at their back, and knowing how to turn. These are basic technical fundamentals. Developing complicated tactical workarounds to compensate for these weaknesses is putting training wheels on players instead of developing them properly. This is one of the reasons I believe South African football is falling behind other countries. We need to develop technically complete players who can handle different situations on the pitch, not players who can only function under specific conditions. Just my opinion, though. You make good content!

Well explained. The man is only expanding on a concept and not player’s abilities.

Easy to talk about how this and that should’ve been done than being on the field and doing the actual thing ..

it wasn't guardiola who explained that half turn it was Kyle walker talking about it. (in the clip)

Masilela 90 percent of the time has the ball exposed and it’s frustrating for a 10 to have low spatial awareness 🤦🏽♂️

Mabusha Doubleu :
The critical thing here is turning blindly(Awareness lacking) not actually turning. The opponent turned creating with a magical pass. If you were to coach here, awareness is the key. Players must always be scanning.
