You can see him losing possession before that foot hits the ground out of bounds, if he had maintained possession up until the point that foot hits the ground I could get behind an argument that it was a catch but this simply isn’t a catch

Everyone from announcers, refs, and replay officials say it wasn’t a catch. Most people agree it’s not a catch. In order for it to have been a catch I think he would have had to have possession for at least 3-5 seconds controlling the ball
