she’s 21 now. I got her when I was 13 and she was 6. every breakup, every move, losing my family, getting them back, having to put myself back together so many times and she has been right there beside me through every single moment. it’s my turn to protect her now, and I’m letting her go at the end of the month. she has arthritis and I can tell that she’s hurting, so I don’t want to let her be in pain when she would never let me

The first cat I had as an adult was my ride or die. She went through my marriage, pregnancy, divorce, moving back to my parents, finding the love of my life, a new marriage, a house and another pregnancy... We still miss her 😔
