Growing up, I was always the girl with the chunky legs.
Bigger than the other girls… sometimes even bigger than the boys. And because of that, I convinced myself my only shot at happiness was to make them smaller. To “fix” what I thought was wrong with me. In my early 20s, my entire goal revolved around one thing:
✨ Skinny legs.
✨ Skinny body.
✨ Skinny everything. I believed blending in—shrinking myself to look like everyone else—would finally give me confidence. So I chased it.
Extreme diets. Prep after prep.
Even bodybuilding competitions. Yes, I got lean. But the truth?
I looked sick. Exhausted. Empty.
And even worse—I still didn’t love myself. Fast forward to today, and everything has shifted. I finally understand: our body is our home.
The only place we get to live for the rest of our lives.
And it’s not meant to be punished, starved, or shrunk. It’s meant to be nourished, moved, respected. Skinny was never the goal.
Strong, fit, confident—that’s the goal. Now, I celebrate my body for what it can do:
🏃‍♀️ Run.
🏋🏼‍♀️ Lift.
💪 Be strong, athletic, and capable. I don’t want to blend in anymore.
I want to stand out—powerful, resilient, unapologetically me. Real happiness didn’t come from being “small.”
It came from building a body that allows me to live fully—year after year. ✨ If you’re tired of chasing “skinny” and ready to finally feel confident, strong, and proud of your body…
