Please, when studying the Bible, take notice of the context in which the things said were uttered. Jesus didn’t go anywhere when he died, he stayed in the tomb, just like every human who dies. Job, speaking of what happens to the dead said “As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: So he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. He shall return no more to his house, Neither shall his place know him any more.”
Job 7 : 9 - 10 KJV
Just like he commanded us, he rested on the 7th day sabbath to show its sacredness. On the cross, Jesus told the thief on THAT DAY that he would go to heaven. Notice the difference, Jesus didn’t say on that day, Friday, they’re both going to heaven together, No! But On Friday, Jesus told the thief that he now has been forgiven and will go to heaven when it’s time. Hades means the grave, Jesus went into the grave because he died, he stayed in the grave but wasn’t abandoned because God resurrected him. The story of Lazarus & the rich man was just a parable, not a literal story. It’s a story trying to teach us a lesson. The same interpretation of Jesus preaching through Noah is the right interpretation of the verse of Peter. It was Jesus who inspired Noah to preach the message of repentance, seen in his words: ““But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24 : 37 KJV
Jesus did ascend to heaven with some resurrected saints, yes! But the Bible doesn’t say anywhere that Adam and Eve were part of them. Jesus is the one who gives life and takes life because he is the author of it, He has the keys in the sense that he can remove people from death (resurrect) and put them to sleep (take their life).
