We were in the middle of playing Mario kart and he came home sat down and chafed it to his show without even saying anything and I was like what happen and they were like it’s dads house so he rules the TV … I was so caught off guard cuz he didn’t care at alll and I tried to tell my family and they were like yea they just respect him I was like uhhh no that’s rude to just change it especially while we’re in the middle of a game and guests are over

Just read a reddit thread that asked what was the weirdest thing you saw at someone else's home they thought was normal. 3/5 stories were about how the family couldn't do certain things if the dad was home. one was that you couldn't use the toilet once he was asleep because it would wake him. like his bladder controlled the household
