I didn't realize you were ableist." this man with a disability (he actually has several) abused me so much when I was a toddler that my brain broke and now it can't tell the difference between mental and physical pain. you know how you sweat and shake when you're scared, or your stomach knots up when you're anxious? those are normal physical responses to mental upset. I feel ALL of my mental health issues physically. I feel all of my depression, anxiety, stress, fear, trauma, etc. to the point where I've been sick and in pain my entire life. now, please understand, I'm not saying any of this to bitch and moan. I've talked about it many times before, it's something I made my peace with long, long ago. my dad has been on the right medications, has gotten easier to be around as the years have passed, and like I said, I love him very, very much. I'm saying all of this for one reason: if I want to make a joke about the fact that for years my dad thought DRINKING CARBONATED DRINKS CARBONATES YOUR BLOOD, and even after I showed him a half dozen pieces of scientific proof as to how that wasn't true, he continued telling everybody he could that this was a fact because he is a narcissist - not someone who is suffering from a mental illness that has led to a psychosis that is separating their mind from reality, and not someone who is dealing with delusions, dissociation or derealization - he believes he is allowed to make up his own facts and anyone who doesn't believe them is an idiot, I feel like I'm allowed to. . 🧠 🥤= 🫧🩸❔🫲👁️👄👁️👍 #cptsd #narcissisticabuse #bipolar #narcissisticparent #fyp
