If I ever decide to have a baby, I know I’ll love and care for them just as much as I do for GinGin. But one thing is for sure: GinGin will always be my first baby. His place in my heart will never change. And here’s something I’ve realised: as human beings, when we love someone, we naturally start having expectations. If I ever have a child, as they grow older, they’ll learn to talk, understand things and have their own opinions. I’ll probably have expectations of them too. That’s just human nature. We give so much love, and somewhere along the way, we begin to expect understanding in return. But with GinGin, it’s different. My love for him is truly unconditional. I don’t expect him to understand me, do anything for me or give me anything in return. I just want him to be happy, healthy, loved and by my side for as long as life allows. I don’t need anything from him. Just his little presence, his unconditional love and the privilege of watching him grow old with me. That’s all I ever wish for. Happy Kukur Tihar to my first baby, my little GinGin. May I get to celebrate many, many more Tihars with you. 🫠♥️🐶
