@bibleprophecies7: Psalm 91 reminds us that Jehovah is a refuge and stronghold for those who put their trust in him. We live in a time when serious events are ahead, but Jehovah does not want his servants to be paralyzed by fear. Instead, he wants us to have confidence that he can protect us. — Psalm 91:1, 2. The protection described in Psalm 91 includes spiritual protection. Jehovah gives us his Word, holy spirit, congregation, and loving guidance to help us resist sinful desires and remain close to him. We should therefore avoid situations that could weaken our friendship with Jehovah and rely on his guidance when facing temptation. — Matthew 5:28, 29. Jehovah also protects his people as a group. Although faithful Christians may experience physical suffering, persecution, illness, accidents, or even death, Jehovah will never allow his people as a whole to be eliminated or pure worship to disappear. He gives us the strength needed to endure trials while maintaining our friendship with him. The study also gives us confidence about the future. During the great tribulation and Armageddon, Jehovah will protect his worshippers as a group and ultimately deliver them into the righteous new world. We therefore do not need to live in fear of what is coming. — Ezekiel 38:1-2, 10-16; Revelation 19:11-15. The main lesson is simple: Jehovah is not merely someone we believe in—he is someone we can completely trust. When we make Jehovah our refuge and stronghold, we can face present trials and future events with courage. As Psalm 91:2 says: “You are my refuge and my stronghold, My God, in whom I will trust.” #TrustInJehovah #JehovahProtects #Psalm91
