Fun story, back when I was dumb college student, I thought it would be cool to apply to the CIA just to see what would happen, and I got a call back and initial screen and got moved to a second interview. While waiting for my second interview I read Legacy of Ashes just to be prepared, and yeah, didn't stick around for the rest of the interview process after that 😂

Will, sir in this world,am thinking my own thoughts,Nothing is fair. Nobody plays by the book. The CIA has its purpose. mistakes were made, it may because the interest of the few probably corporations I gather it’s mostly about money I believe, perhaps changing the country values that we may not agree with

It's always interesting to watch people's criticism of intelligence agencies that they know nothing about unless they watch a movie or read an obscure book. I served in Naval Intelligence for 17 of my 21-year career. Four of those years were working with the DIA and CIA. Both of those organizations at the epitome of the saying "Our failures are well known, but our successes are not." They like to keep it that way for a reason. Unfortunately, the failures make good book fodder and paints a different picture of the intelligence community than what is actually happening.

I used to love the CIA till I grew up to realize the reason why they exist is to over throw Governments that the US Government dislikes(People that doesn’t align with the US). The US Government doesn’t respect other people’s sovereignty.
