Have you used any of these excuses? 👀😬 For years, I was a master at making excuses to rationalize my drinking. Whether it was a rough day at work, a celebration, or simply feeling bored, I always had a reason to reach for a drink. I would tell myself it was just one, that I deserved it, or that everyone else was doing it too. 🤦‍♀️ I convinced myself that alcohol was the solution, when in reality, it was the problem. I was a pushover with myself, letting my excuses dictate my actions and control my life. I ignored the voice inside telling me to stop & found myself at the beer store picking up more White Claw or gin for the evening on more occasions than I would like to admit. I gave my power away every time I justified my drinking. Self sabotage at its best .. or worst. 🤷‍♀️☠️ ✨But here’s the truth: gaining self-control feels incredible. 💯 Sobriety has given me the strength to say no, to stand firm in my decisions, and to embrace a healthier, happier life. That in turn, has developed into a level of self confidence I never even knew I could possess. 🤯 The fact is the more I kept promises to myself & woke up hangxiety free, the more confidence in myself grew! It hasn’t always been easy, but the rewards are worth it. 🙌 👉Sobriety taught me to stop making excuses and start making changes. It showed me that I am stronger than my triggers and more powerful than any drink. I’ve gained control over my life & adulting & motherhood have become more manageable. 🥰 If you find yourself making excuses, remember that you have the power to break free. ✌️It starts with one decision, one step towards a better you. Trust me, it’s worth it. 🎉✨ Feel free to share this to spread the sober movement! We ALL deserve to feel this good about ourselves. 💜😘 Follow for more sober inspiration 🤘🏼 #soberafvibes #soberaf #womenwhodontdrink #soberglow #idontdrink #sobertiktok #soberliving #selflove #selflovejourney #genxwomen
