@nbcnewyork: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Rockefeller Center. The tree that will serve as the centerpiece of New York City’s holiday season arrived Saturday morning, having completed the 200-mile journey to Midtown Manhattan from upstate New York. The Norway Spruce from West Edmeston, which stands 76 feet tall and weighs 11 tons, was cut down Thursday, lowered by crane onto a 100-foot trailer, and transported to Rockefeller Center.
