i would argue he’s treated her poorly the entire series, i’m talking all the way back in WAR when he dropped her hand in the tent as soon as Mor walked in. and if we count his canon bonus chapter in SH that’s set in MAF/early WAR then he he’s treated her poorly since then. their sexual frustration with each other has been the basis of their dynamic the entire time. even in SF their sex scenes carried most of the “romance” in the book, it was Nesta friendships that really pushed her as far as personal growth.

I also find it odd when people say “she only does x” “she won’t do x” just because she hasn’t in the past, doesn’t mean she won’t in the future. And citing interviews from 10 years ago doesn’t mean her mind hasn’t changed.

I don't love Cassian for Nesta, I haven't since the start. He has always been cruel to her and will never be completely loyal. She is more powerful than anyone expected she would be, and they all try and keep her down out of fear.

Been in love with SJM since beginning days of TOG and over the moon we're back in Pryrhian.. after reading ACOSH, I feel like she was prepping for another TOD/EOS type story arc but decided to put them together instead of separately after seeing how popular the tandem read is and backlash from newer fans discovering the series.

I don’t mind the story line, it’s the CC crossover for me. (And yes I’ve read it) TOG and ACOTAR crossover took nothing away from either story. You can still completely enjoy both of them individually. CC and ACOTAR crossover is absolutely painful. It’s like she did it because she knew CC wouldn’t be as popular, so it’s more of a cash grab then contributing to the story line.
