Where do you use 277 volt? Really odd. 240 and 110 is the standards I know of. Never heard 277.

240 and 480 are what we work on. But I’m no electrician we work on machines but always turn off the disconnect or kill it at the breaker why r u working on it while it’s hot ?

I got hammered the other day, 277 light circuit using green ground wire for a neutral. 277 picked up from one leg of a 3phase disconnect. Ended up demoing all of it and setting a lighting tx with a true 277 neutral.
