Monasteries, food, education, travel, texts, and charitable activities all require resources. * Where there are more people, there may be more opportunities to teach. Wealthy places often have larger communities that can support Dharma activities. * Some invitations come from sponsors or communities who want teachings, pujas, or blessings. * But motivation matters. If someone teaches Dharma mainly for personal wealth, fame, or status, that is different from using resources to benefit beings and preserve the teachings. * The real measure is not where a lama goes, but what they do with the support they receive. Are they cultivating compassion, wisdom, humility, and benefiting others?
