That’s what the present is supposed to look like - clean cities, efficient public transport, systems are work for the people. After travelling through China, I realised that what people call “living in 2050” is just the result of decades of investment in infrastructure and public services. Whether you agree with China’s political system or not, it’s hard not to notice what can happen when development becomes a national priority. Maybe China isn’t ahead of everyone else.
