Replying to @K'lyn Fullington Part 2 of my book recommendations for the healing, spiritual, and awakening path. This time centering Indigenous wisdom keepers and authors of color. I also want to acknowledge that my last list lacked diversity and inclusion. It wasn’t conscious, which is exactly why it’s something worth noticing and examining in myself. There can be a real whitewashing of spirituality in the West. Ancient teachings can become separated from their cultural context, repackaged, and shared without acknowledging the people and lineages that carried them.
