Also look for recalls/lawsuits!!! We bought a’16 Kia Sorento, clean Carfax, no open recalls or reported issues. 9 months later the engine failed 1/2

yep! I did this before getting our chr and my husband just sat there looking cute (since they take a man being there better then if I went alone) and I knew what I wanted and everything...one sales guy tried to get me to shut up..so we left but the other one (where we bought it)

They haven’t offset for the massive leap in the used car industry though. My 2004 Honda shouldn’t be worth per KBB more than 5k but I have seen the exact same model multiple times for 7k all over the place.

I stick with Honda or Toyota cuz most don't have very good gas mileage and you won't lose much value on the vehicles with Honda or Toyota
