Why Can ITLG Exist in Three States? When discussing ITLG, one question may come up: Are ITLG in the app, on-chain ITLG, and vITLG three different tokens? The answer is no. They are three different states of the same ITLG token. ITLG can exist in one of three states: ITLG in the App (off-chain), ITLG on-chain, or vITLG. Even though the state is different, the total amount of ITLG does not change. The total supply always remains 100B. Think of It Like Money Being Moved Imagine you have $1,000. That money could be in your wallet, deposited into a bank account, or transferred somewhere else. Even though its location changes, you still have $1,000. It does not suddenly become $2,000 simply because it was moved. The basic idea is similar with ITLG. ITLG can move from one state to another, but the movement does not create additional total ITLG supply. So, How Does ITLG Move? The mechanism works similarly to how the same token can operate across different blockchains. When ITLG moves from one state to another, the corresponding amount must be locked and bridged. This ensures that the movement continues to represent the same amount of ITLG. For example, if a certain amount of ITLG is in one state and needs to move to another state, the corresponding amount is locked as part of the process and then bridged to the destination state. So, it is not: Old ITLG + New ITLG = Increased Supply Instead: ITLG moves between states while the corresponding amount remains accounted for.
