Controversial things we don’t let our children do… 1. Get 💉. Head to my “Vs” highlight to see why. 2. Celebrate holidays. We celebrate the Lords feast days. There’s MANY reasons. Head to my holidays highlight to see why. 3. Public school. We homeschool for many reasons. Safety. Influence. Time with them. Etc. 4. Play on tablets. I don’t believe a child’s brain can handle a screen addiction. Well neither can adults. We start teaching them how to put up boundaries at the age of 11. 5. Go to VBS/Sunday school. Do you know how confusing it is for children to go to several VBSs and be told different things about salvation? My kids were constantly saying the sinners prayer and rededicating themselves to Christ. And we believe children should be in church with their parents learning that the Bible is for them too. Worship is for them too. And the Holy spirit is in them too. Rather than constantly needing to be entertained. 6. Watch YouTube. YouTube is a dangerous place for children. 7. Sleepovers. We trust maybe 3 families with this. Too many stories of abuse amongst those you would never suspect. 8. Well checks. They were created for the 💉. They’re unnecessary. Why weigh and measure a healthy child, while exposing them to an office created for sickness? If our child is sick, we take them in. 9. Listen to secular music. All music worships someone or something. Music is very influential and stays in your mind forever. Be careful little ears what you hear. What if I’m an old mom or dad and my younger children or future children don’t get the best me? Many people stop having children because they don’t want to be old parents. They feel like their children will be getting a lesser version of themselves. To which I reply that the opposite is in fact true. They might not get the better physical you with all the energy in the world but they’ll get the more sanctified you. The more patient. The more wise. The more mature. The more loving you. I become a better parent with each new year. I love Gods design! Our children will always be blessed by us as we walk with Christ and will always be a blessing to us. And let’s say children are born and their parents die in a freak accident. Or that a parent is old, sick, or disabled? Will they wish they were never born? No! We can’t base our future children’s value on our mortal and flawed thoughts and feelings. Or even on temporary seasons. Are we having them for us? 4 signs you’re falling away from Yahuah (God) or don’t even know him at all. I’m going to be honest. I once was all of these! I thought the sinners prayer I said when I was 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 (and so on because I prayed it every year) saved me. It wasn’t until my first miscarriage that I got serious with God and finally found him. And trust me, when you find him you know. It all started when I decided to read the Bible and find out exactly what’s true. 1. You’ve never read the Bible. There’s a lot of deception in the world today. If you don’t know what the Bible says, I promise you’ll be deceived in an instant. I was. I believed so many things that aren’t even in the Bible. I don’t mean reading the verse of the day or a daily devotional. I mean reading the entire Bible over and over. You don’t have time? You just read my post, so I promise you do. 2. You only talk about God at church on Sunday. This is a sign you aren’t living for him. He’s only a priority on Sunday and therefore it’s just a mask you put on once a week. If He’s your Elohim and savior every decision hinges on his ways. 3. You’re offended by others obedience to Yahuah. It never ceases to amaze me how offensive simple obedience to Gods word is to other believers. Now that we celebrate the feasts, don’t eat unclean, fast often, observe sabbath and so on, it’s mind blowing how offensive it is to others. 4. You’re constantly trying to justify away obedience to his words. That used to be me. Ever since I started fasting, Yahuah has revealed things to me that I didn’t want to do. One of them was getting rid of Christmas. I studied his word for a year trying to justify away obedience to his voice. I lost. I couldn’t justify it. Now, if he says it, I believe it.
