Amputation is either a blessing or a curse and ultimate it’s up to us to decide however they adapt and we support them till the the end

My dog could’ve gotten a surgery to keep her leg but she was already old so we ended up doing the amputation and she can still run all she needs help

they told me that my Pyrenees' leg should be amputated. Absolutely not. it functions fine. it's just wonky after a break.

some people dont want to dedicate time to recovery or rehab so amputation is the easiest option,as a vet its a responsibility to go over all options
