@stormybluee: (PART 7): Last day of Black History Month and ending with some history for you! 🙌🏾 The @norfolkbotanicalgarden is such a beautiful and peaceful space. It truly is wonderful for your mental health and to just transport to a different environment! I was today years old when I found out about the Black History of the Garden! Imagine working hard to turn a swamp into a Garden and then later on due to segregation laws you and your family can’t even go anymore! I think it’s awesome how @norfolkbotanicalgarden has not let that piece of history escape them especially by adding The Breaking Grounds statue 🌟 Doing this collab with @downtown757 has been a great experience for me and I’m happy if I even got to shed the light on one thing new to my StormChasers!
