Pad See Ew at home is so much easier than you think! Make sure to tag me when you make this recipe plz— I love seeing all of your recreations ☺️ ➡️ Recipe: Pad See Ew Serves 3-4 Ingredients— Beef marinate: - [ ] 1/2- 1lb sliced beef of choice, I use flank steak - [ ] 1 tbsp oyster sauce - [ ] 1/2 tbsp soy sauce - [ ] 1 tsp dark soy sauce - [ ] 1 tsp sugar - [ ] 1/2 tsp ground black pepper - [ ] 1/4 tsp baking soda - [ ] 2lbs fresh rice noodles, wide cut (1 pack) - [ ] 1/2lb Chinese broccoli - [ ] 3 eggs - [ ] 2 tbsp oyster sauce - [ ] 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce - [ ] 1 tbsp dark soy sauce - [ ] 1 tbsp sugar - [ ] 1/2 tbsp soy sauce - [ ] 1/2 tbsp seasoning sauce (or soy sauce but seasoning does change the flavor for the better!) - [ ] 1 tsp ground black pepper - [ ] 2-3 tbsp cooking oil, canola - [ ] +1/2 tbsp dark soy to coat noodles. 1. First marinate meat with all ingredients listed above and let it sit while you prepare the other ingredients. 2. Slice Chinese broccoli on a bias to about 1/4 inch thickness. Optional: steam Chinese broccoli with a splash of water in the microwave for 1 minute. Leave it uncovered. 3. Peel rice noodles making sure to keep them in long strands. Season with 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce and toss until noodles are evenly coated. 4. Heat pan to high heat and add 2-3 tbsp of cooking oil. Sauté garlic and beef until 90% cooked through. 5. Add noodles to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes to get a little bit of a char or golden color. Try not to break up the noodles too much when mixing by scooping and lifting noodles. Set aside in the pan. 6. On med-high heat, scramble eggs until 80% done and then toss with noodles and beef. 7. Add Chinese broccoli and sauce, mix until everything is evenly coated. About 2 more minutes. ENJOY! #padseeew #thaifood #EasyRecipe #asianrecipe

My dad would serve his sweet and sour pork with the sauce on the side but here I’ve showed you two ways. How do you like to eat yours? ➡️ Recipe: Papa Tea’s Sweet and Sour Pork (2 ways) Serves: 3-4 - [ ] 1 1/2 lb pork shoulder or butt, sliced into 1/4 in strips - [ ] 2/3 cup water - [ ] 1/2 cup cornstarch - [ ] 1/4 cup AP flour - [ ] 1 tsp baking powder - [ ] 1 tsp kosher salt - [ ] 1/2 tsp garlic powder - [ ] 1/4 tsp white pepper - [ ] Frying oil, I like using peanut oil - [ ] 1/2 cup Red bell pepper, bite sized pieces - [ ] 1/2 cup Green bell pepper, bite sized pieces - [ ] 1/2 cup small onion, bite sized pieces - [ ] Cooking oil Sweet and sour sauce: - [ ] 1/2 cup water - [ ] 1/3 cup vinegar - [ ] 1/4 cup sugar +1 tbsp sugar if you want it a bit sweeter - [ ] 1 tbsp soy sauce - [ ] Optional: (for color) 2 drops red food coloring Slurry: - [ ] 1/2 tbsp cornstarch - [ ] 1 tbsp water 1. Marinate sliced pork with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cornstarch, AP flour, baking powder and water. Combine until batter is thick. Let it marinade for 15-20 mins. 2. Make sweet and sour sauce by combining all of the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Then add slurry to thicken. (Make sure water and cornstarch well mixed) Bring to a simmer for 1 min. Leave to cool. 3. Heat oil to 350 F in a wok, use enough oil to deep fry pork. 4. Carefully lower strips of battered pork into the oil. Fry for 3-5 mins and until lightly golden. Remove, strain and leave to cool. Do this in small batches. 5. Once all of the pork is fried, heat oil back up to 350F and fry once more for another 3-4 mins and until pork is golden and crispy. Remove & strain. 6. In large pan or wok, heat 1/2 tbsp cooking oil. Sauté onions and both bell peppers until onions are slightly translucent. (You want a bite to it) 7. Turn the heat down low. Pour in 1/2 cup ( this is for half the serving of fried pork or as much or as little as you want) into the pan. Then add pork. Toss until everything is evenly coated. Enjoy! *You may serve the fried pork with the sweet and soy sauce on the side as a dip and without the veggies. **Only double fry as much pork as you’ll eat. Freeze left over pork after the 1st fry. You may double fry from frozen when you’re ready to eat it. #sweetandsourpork #chinesefood #takeoutfood #EasyRecipe #cooking
