WHY DOES SHE GET TO HAVE AN ENDING LIKE THAT?!??🤬 • I cannot wrap my head around this one. Like… imagine being seventeen, finding out you’re pregnant, and instead of telling literally anyone who could help, you just decide, “eh, maybe if I ignore it, it’ll go away.” That’s exactly what Alexis Avila did. She and her boyfriend took one of those “haha let’s take a pregnancy test for fun” TikTok trends, and surpriseeeee, it was positive. Instead of dealing with it, she hides the whole pregnancy from her parents, lies to her boyfriend that she had a miscarriage, and just keeps pretending like nothing’s happening. Fast forward to January 7th, 2022. She wakes up in agonizing pain, realizes she’s in labor, and instead of screaming for help, she locks herself in the bathroom and delivers the baby alone. And here’s where it gets dark: she wraps her newborn in a towel, throws him in the backseat of her car, drives to a department store dumpster, stuffs him in a trash bag, and just… leaves him there. The baby’s still alive. Still crying. Six hours later….SIX HOURS… a group of friends dumpster diving literally saves his life. They hear what they think is a puppy crying, rip open the bag, and boom…it’s a newborn. Freezing, barely breathing, but somehow still alive. They rush him to the hospital, and by some miracle, he makes a full recovery. Police don’t even have to do detective work here. CCTV catches Alexis dumping the bag, the license plate matches, and the bag has items with her name on them. She gets arrested, charged, sentenced to 16 years… and then, get this, released after six months because her lawyer whined about her trial being “unfair.” And now, years later, she’s just out.
