Rose water has been used for centuries for its various benefits. Used as a natural toner, it maintains skin elasticity and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. In addition to its skincare benefits, rose water also has aromatherapy benefits. The scent of rose water is known to have a calming and relaxing effect on the mind and body. It can help reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being. Rose water made at home is a great addition to baking. All Roses are edible however, not all taste the same. We love to add it to our baked goods. To make your own rose water at home, this method is the closest to distilling and uses everyday kitchen equipment. You’ll need a small jar or bowl, a pot and lid to collect rose water. Ingredients: Fresh or dried rose petals Distilled water Instructions: -Place the glass bowl in the centre of the pot -Fill the sides with rose petals -Add distilled water and fill just below the bowl/jar -Put the lid upside down and fill the inverted lid with ice cubes -Gently heat the pan to a low simmer and allow the heat to condense for 30 minutes or more -As the ice melts, remove the water and add more ice Top off the water inside the pot if necessary. Keep in the fridge for up to 1-2 weeks or freeze in cubes for long term use. #daily #handmade #rose #rosewater #natural #antiaging #fypシ
