I know it comes from a good place. I really do. But when you’re already overwhelmed… when your brain is already trying to hold everything together… having to figure out what you need on top of that feels impossible. Especially as an autism mom. There’s so much constant mental load, so much pressure, so many moving pieces… that sometimes you don’t even have the capacity to process your own needs, let alone explain them. So when I say “I don’t know”… it’s not me pushing people away. It’s me being honest.
