Let me see if I understand correctly. To invest in a lot of property in Australia, the best thing to do is to open a company under my name, then open a family trust under the company name, and then +

At the end with the company 75000, you will be taxed upon funds withdrawn from company. tax is only defured. Only the kids help in this structure

What happens with the bucket company tho? Who are the shareholders? They will still have to pay tax on it as per their marginal rate just get a 30cent discount if the companies pays (fully franked)

Excellent. Another strategy to benefit the wealthy & reduce resources to those who need them. I am in a high tax bracket & happy to pay

Hey Josh, great example I feel Sarah would have left Mark years ago before the trust was setup! 😂 question is if beneficiary is under 18 ie 15 who can legally work why are they limited to $416?

in NSW, the land tax on the inv prop, for a trust would be about $10,000 per annum. For a prop that rents at circa $500 per week. Not tax effective.

Great video mate! Simply explains the concepts. The structure can be way better than currently portrayed to pay less tax but concepts are clear.
