only change I'd say is that it isn't whether the hit is in the infield but rather if an infielder can easily catch the ball.

That’s a good explanation, the only thing I’m confused about is if there is only someone on first. I thought the rule still counted, does it not? I feel like it should

Our trainers harped on adding if fair cause a coach argued with us one time that it didn’t matter cause the ump had already called the batter out 😅
