READ CAPTION… £10k a month at 19. £50k a month at 22. £100k a month at 24. But the numbers alone don’t explain the journey. At uni, I was broke and just trying to make money however I could. I started reselling Essentials hoodies, Jordans and Air Forces, and that was the first time I realised you don’t need permission to create income. After uni, I went into the family business and helped manage serious money, but I never felt like I had complete control. There were always other people to answer to, other opinions to please, and limits on how far I could take things. That taught me something important: making money is good, but owning the vehicle that makes the money is different. While I was still in the business, I started Amazon on the side. In my first 9 months, I touched £80k in revenue, but a lot of it was low-margin wholesale. That taught me another lesson: revenue is not the same as profit. Roughly two years later, Amazon was generating around £100k per month. The biggest lesson? Every stage taught me something different. Reselling taught me how to spot demand. The family business taught me how real operations work. Wholesale taught me how easy it is to chase revenue and ignore margins. Amazon taught me how powerful systems become when you build them properly. The goal was never just to make money. It was to build something I had control over.
