@rebalance.pt.sc: Does bending over make you dizzy or nauseous? This can look like: 🚨Picking up something off the floor 🚨Tying your shoes 🚨Squatting or doing a burpee And doing it repetitively can make the dizziness, nausea, and brain fog worse. Why is this happening? The vestibular system is giving you information when your head is moving from a standing position to a squat and back. It also gives you information if your whole body is moving up or down or forward and backward. This is why people get sick in an elevator or on a rollercoaster. This is because two of the organs within the vestibular system are responsible for firing with linear acceleration. What do I do to fix this? You need to train your system to fire correctly when you change body positions. It’s not enough to just do the activity repetitively. If the system is not firing, you will just be making yourself sick. Recalibrating the system to fire correctly is needed first. This is one example of what vestibular rehabilitation can look like. Send to someone who gets dizzy bending down! 💪🏻
