@nickkomodina_official: Language is the precursors to our reality - The Hopi tribes language contains NO references around the concepts of time whatsoever. When I found that out I had an existential crisis. - This means they are INCAPABLE of feeling; rushed, late, like they’re falling behind, worried how long something will take, impatience, the list can go on. The language we use to describe and understand all of these things is governed by the concept of time. If the concept of time did not exist in our language; we would never be able to understand what “running out of time” or “I should be further for my age”, “I’m getting too old” meant. - If you tried to explain our “master” time to the Hopi tribe they would look at us like idiots. So this poses 4 questions from me. - are we right? - are they right? - are we both right? - are we both wrong? - What do you think? Let me know ! . . . #fyp #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp
