When the victim fell asleep, she woke up to find Lemaistre sexually assaulting her. He ignored her continuous cries to stop, raping and assaulting her for 20 minutes. After escaping, the survivor bravely contacted Northamptonshire Police. A raid on Lemaistre’s property uncovered large supplies of cocaine and ketamine. Although he admitted the drugs offences, he denied the sexual crimes. A jury took just two hours to find him guilty of rape and assault by penetration, and he was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
