Hairdresser here who is done roller set for years. Clip it to your scalp and use a clip on each side when using large rollers.

if you use a blowdryer with the diffuser on, it’ll help set and dry faster without messing the rollers up!!

You'd then sit under a hairdryer. It was a huge contraption like a helmut that you put on your head and sit in a chair until deaf and dry. Lol

pro tip, pull the hair out at a 90⁰ when wrapping the hair and put the clips as close to the scalp as u can ❤️my teachers pounded that into my head when teaching me
