I have done both. Number 1 and 3. Number 1 all the excitement wanted to know. Number 2, we didn’t. I wanted to be a boy mum. I would have been disappointed in knowing she was a girl.

We didn’t find out both times, I can’t explain how amazing it is to finally find out the gender. I felt very connected with both boys even without knowing the gender

Found out with my son but had a surprise for number 2- was a girl and was the best feeling in the world, but definitely wasn’t as connected with baby when pregnant

Found out with my first she was a girl at 20 weeks, had a surprise baby for my second and would never find out again it was so exciting! I told the tech before all ultrasounds I am not finding out

I found out for both of my kids, definitely felt more connected. I’m the same if I had a 3rd I don’t think I’d find out.

My husband HATES secrets so insisted we found out! I’d love a surprise but I’d hate for him to know and not me! Sooo looks like I’ll found out next time too 😂🤦🏼♀️😭

I like not knowing & haven’t felt like it’s impacted the bond at all. At scans, the techs all say different things “he/she/them” and always say to look away when they look near the legs.

Did one of each. Second baby was already a surprise so found out the gender and i much preferred the control of knowing as my hg pregnancies were so out of my control.

I’ve done both - first found out and loved that. Second didn’t find out and I hated it. I was so anxious and stressed over trying to work out a boy name. Third time now and finding out soon.

Found out with both my sons, I think if I was going a third I’d be going surprise to experience that at the end. With my second it wasn’t exciting and I struggled with that.

Didn’t find out with my first two & loved not knowing, but then fell pregnant with twins so found out cause twins was enough of a surprise 🙈😂

I’m a control freak so yes absolutely I found out the gender so I could start calling him his name and buy clothes etc and it gave me time to get over gender disappointment
