@mermaid.kayleigh: As a shark diver, it’s exciting when a shark decides to approach you as they are generally shy & just swim by. But in an emergency situation when you have a shark approaching you, you should stay calm and avoid splashing, maintain eye contact, slowly swim away, put something between you & the shark, & you can push down hard on the nose as a last option. Avoid physical contact unless absolutely necessary.
