my grandmother used to have us "paint" the rocks. she had slate stones in her patio walkway and they get dark when wet.

My kids loved doing this outside with water and a paintbrush on the sidewalks in the summer. Kept them occupied for hours.

Similar idea that was a hit with our girls. Tape contact paper sticky side out and add pompoms or any of those seasonal foam cutouts that the dollar stores have.

How is she already 12 months?? This last year went too quick! I just got a giant whiteboard from work for my 3yr and 5yr olds. It's been a life saver with it pushing 100+ here.

My mom set us up in a cardboard box with the brushes and water. I remember it being super fun. Especially if you end up getting a giant box that fits both you and your little one. 😊
