In warehouses across #China, #HumanoidRobots have quietly taken over one of the most exhausting jobs there is: sorting packages. Bending, grabbing, flipping, scanning — thousands of times a shift. It‘s brutal, repetitive, and hard on the body. Nobody grows up wanting it. At a postal hub in Shenzhen, human-shaped robots have done exactly that job for half a year straight — no breaks, around the clock. Each one moves about 10,000 parcels a day, roughly what a skilled worker handles. Here’s the smart part: nobody rebuilt the warehouse. The robots just plug into the existing sorting lines and stand where a person would. No expensive overhaul. And it‘s scaling fast. One company plans to ship a thousand of these robots this quarter alone — into China Post, SF Express, and more than a dozen other logistics centers.
