@gibbous.does.branding: Create a Live Halftone on a Custom Gradient in Adobe Illustrator using the Mesh Tool. This effect can be used with any custom shape that you design. Once you’ve created a custom shape, use the mesh tool to start laying down a grid. At this point you can start adjusting the grid or wait till after. Now you can start developing your gradient mesh. Select all the points you want to add your color to and simply select your chosen color. Once you have all your points and colors added. It’s time to open up the appearance panel. Under the appearance panel select pixelate then choose color halftone. Adjust the settings until you’re satisfied and click okay.
